Customer Service Representative (Russian Speaking)

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

As a member of the Customer Service Team (Internal Sales Team) to promptly respond to all incoming enquiries and orders, ensuring that they are processed in a professional manner and to each customer’s satisfaction, thereby building close customer relations that result in increased sales. A particular responsibility for this role is the use of Russian and English language skills, in order to meet the needs of Eastern European customers, including working closely with the Eastern European external sales team.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Accurately assess the needs of customers and advise them on the most suitable products from the Hypro and SHURFlo product ranges.

2. Actively canvass for additional business at the time of ordering by checking customers’ requirements for related products and detailing current sales promotions.

3. Follow agreed office procedures for handling customer quotations, orders and returns, assisting colleagues as and when required as part of the customer service team.

4. Track the progress of orders taken, ensuring that they are despatched on time and customers are informed of any delays as well as the relevant external sales person.

5. Pro actively resolve any problems associated with stocks or deliveries to ensure customers are supplied within agreed delivery dates on all orders. Target 100%.

6. Prepare export documentation as required.

7. Produce quotations on behalf of and in association with sales colleagues. Follow up quotations to maximise sales revenue

8. Take responsibility for a given list of customers. Pro actively contact them by phone on a regular basis to develop sales in order to exceed agreed sales targets

9. Actively prospect for new customers in conjunction with sales colleagues and in line with sales promotional campaigns, qualifying prospects and passing on details to colleagues where customer visits are required.

10. Maintain an up to date knowledge of relevant technical and commercial aspects of the industry. This will include competitor’s products, prices and activities, legislation, market trends and advisory recommendations.

11. Take all reasonable precautions to look after Hypro’s property.

12. Undertake additional responsibilities as and when required

13. Visit shows in Eastern Europe 3-4 times a year

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential Technical:
Educated to UK GCSE standard or equivalent
Ability to understand customer requirements with regard to application of the product
Computer literate in Word, Excel etc
Experience of using an ERP system

Desired Technical:
An engineering background or qualification
Experience in spraying applications
Experience selling fluid handling products
Experience of using an ERP system - SAP

Essential Commercial:
Successful track record in customer service in a sales environment

Desired Commercial:
Experience of business development
Experience of accurate sales forecasting.

Essential Personal:
Fluency in Russian and English
Strong communications skills
Strong customer liaison skills
Able to contribute to business development and planning
Self motivation
Organisational skills
Ability to travel to Eastern Europe

Fluency in additional languages to Russian and English

Full UK/European driving licence
